The mountain biking area is so vast with over 1000 kms of rideable tracks, paths and roads to choose from you are most certainly in the best place! The ‘Portes du Soleil’ is made up of 13 villages; 7 in France and 6 in Switzerland all connected by chairlifts and cable cars under the one lift pass! There is an 80km circuit in France and Switzerland and 5 bike parks.

At the en of June, an unavoidable event atended by thousands of enthousiasts: the MTB Pass’Portes du Soleil
The area of Morzine and Les Gets is accessed by the bubble lift at the Pleney area of Morzine. From the top you can experience the purpose built Avalanche Cup downhill course. There is a great ridge path over towards Les Gets and after a 30 minute climb you are up at Ranfolly
Les Gets Bike Parks – 1 beginners DH at the Grand Cry park, 2 beginners MTB parks:kids zone and mini jump park, 1 dirt and freestyle park:Jump Park, 1 Four Cross, 1 Freeride zone: Gibannaz Canyon, 4 DH and 6 Cross country routes suitable for all riders.
Mont Chery is home to the ‘Les Gets Grundig World Cup’ downhill course and can be accessed by a bubble and then a chairlifts
The Super Morzine bubble enables you to access the rest of the vast area over towards Avoriaz & Chatel and the Swiss resorts.
There really is something for everyone as the area is so immense. The beauty of Chalet Les 4 Vents is that it is only 5 minutes descent by road from Super Morzine; we even pick you up from Bar Robinson’s in town after your day on the slopes… it couldn’t be easier!
Mountain Bike Hire – try Torico bike hire in town
From €35+ (Euros) a day there are also a range of full suspension mountain bikes available for hire from the local bike shops.
A 6 day MBT Portes du Soleil lift pass is €90 (Euros), which enables you to use the cable cars, bubbles and chairlifts in and around the whole area! Your bike is attached to the lift – it’s as easy as that!
