Here at The Mountain Lodge Company we take great care in selecting our chef’s and making the food a fantastic and enjoyable part of your holiday with us.

You will start your day with a hearty breakfast including continental, croissants, fruit, porridge and a cooked option each day. Fresh coffee and a selection of teas will be served along side.
After your day on the slopes you will be picked up in our private mini buses and greeted with afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits each day….why not ask for a hot chocolate too!
Relaxed after a soak in the hot tub a 3 course dinner will be served in our dining room with complimentary wine.
Our chef’s cater for all dietary requirements so just let us know before you arrive.
We can arrange for an early kids dinner at say 6pm which includes a home cooked 2 course dinner.
If you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay with us then we can arrange for a special cake and champagne to be waiting on your return from the slopes.
For those of you that can’t wait til next year…
- 6 large potatoes (sliced and par-boiled)
- 3 chopped onions
- 400g lardons (chopped bacon)
- 5 cloves garlic
- 400ml cream
- grated emmental (or cheddar)
- sliced Reblochon cheese
Fry the lardons, drain, then add the onions and garlic and fry until golden. Add the cream and grated emmental and stir for few minutes.
Layer the sliced potatoes with the creamy mixture into a casserole dish and cover the top with the slices Reblochon.
Bake for 45 mins at 180 degrees (or until the cheese is browning nicely)
Serve with salad and charcuterie… tuck in and think of Morzine!
